Recently, Dr. Kirana Limpaphayom, Chief Operating Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited
(2nd from right), participated in a panel discussion on “Accounting & Sustainability in Action: Sharing from Leading Companies & Roles of Accounting Professions” at the TFAC’s Accounting Professions Summit 2025, held at Centara Grand at CentralWorld. Organized by the Federation of Accounting Professions under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, the summit aimed to share knowledge on economics, technology, and sustainability with accounting professionals as they navigate today’s fast-changing landscape. The event brought together over 900 participants, including accounting professionals and executives from both public and private sectors.
Dr. Kirana emphasized the importance of placing ESG and sustainability at the heart of corporate priorities, highlighting the need to balance environmentally responsible business practices with value creation for stakeholders. This approach aligns with Banpu’s “Energy Symphonics” strategy, harmonizing diverse energy sources to deliver sustainable energy—defined as reliable, affordable, and environmentally friendly.
