Banpu Partners with Suan Dusit to Develop MBA Program Focused on Innovation and Sustainability, Empowering Future Leaders for the New Business Era

Banpu Public Company Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with the Suan Dusit University Graduate School to jointly develop a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program majoring in Innovation and Sustainability, with strong emphasis on AI and innovation in business. The program aims to enhance the capabilities of Thai students to keep pace with the rapidly evolving digital era while supporting sustainable business growth. The initiative also seeks to expand the program to an international level to accommodate foreign students in the future.

The three-year collaboration covers the co-development and design of the curriculum, support from Banpu experts to share knowledge and real-world experience, study visits and hands-on projects, as well as short courses related to innovation, business management, and sustainability. The partnership will also promote research, knowledge exchange, personnel development, and other related academic activities.

Assistant Professor Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-Nate, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs of Suan Dusit University, said, “Suan Dusit University is an institution ready to embrace change in all dimensions. This collaboration with Banpu will help elevate our MBA program into one that focuses on innovation and sustainability, which are key priorities in today’s business landscape. We aim to develop students into global leaders and citizens who can think critically, adapt, and drive organizations amid rapid change through experiential learning alongside industry experts. At the same time, the University seeks to further develop the program to meet the needs of international students and foster a learning environment that embraces global perspectives, preparing students to work in an increasingly interconnected business world in the future.”

Mr. Wittapon Jawjit, Head of Banpu People, Banpu Public Company Limited, said, “Banpu believes that strengthening competitiveness begins with developing people’s capabilities. Our collaboration with Suan Dusit University provides an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experience, particularly in AI and sustainability. Banpu brings together experts and practical experience from both Thailand and overseas to help cultivate high-quality talent that can respond to the needs of both the business and academic sectors.”

This collaboration further reinforces Banpu’s business direction of integrating innovation, technology, and sustainable development under the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, alongside people development, to drive long-term growth for both the organization and society.
